“Challenge one to challenge another” has been going on within the art community where I live this past week. Some amazing pieces have revealed themselves that I would like to share with you.
In the next few days I am thrilled to show you the works of a couple or more exceptional local artists from our small island and beyond. Although the Waccamaw Neck is known for Colonial Rice Plantations converted to Golf courses-back to back, we are also dotted with art galleries galore.
A few of the artists and photographers are personal friends I am honored to say. One of the best is my cousin, Barbie Smith Mathis who owns her own gallery in Columbia, SC our state capital. I hope to introduce you to a few more.
Some you will recognize from previous photographs put to verse…
I hope you will stop by and Enjoy!
